About Us
What Drives Us
Labels might seem like a small detail, but in an industrial facility, they matter. They help crews identify systems quickly, avoid mistakes, and keep operations running safely. That’s why we focus on materials and production methods that can actually handle tough environments.
Our labels are made with premium vinyl, aggressive adhesives, and a protective laminate designed to resist moisture, chemicals, UV exposure, and daily wear. In other words, they’re built to stay clear, readable, and firmly in place long after installation.

Our leadership team brings hands-on experience in printing, design, and manufacturing — the kind that comes from actually building products that need to work in the real world.
Kenny Joss
President
Kenny Joss leads North Mark Safety & Marking with a career built on a deep understanding of print, materials, and the environments where labels are put to the test. He has extensive experience in the printing and graphic design industry, working his way from sign production into industrial applications — developing hands-on expertise in vinyl, adhesives, substrate compatibility, and the full lifecycle of a label from design to installation.
What sets Kenny apart is the time he’s spent inside industrial processing facilities — food processing operations and heavy manufacturing environments — observing firsthand the punishing conditions that labels must endure. Extreme temperatures, aggressive washdown cycles, chemical exposure, and demanding quality standards aren’t abstract concepts to him; they’re the problems North Mark was built to solve.
That real-world exposure shapes every product North Mark produces. Kenny leads the company on the belief that industrial pipe labels and safety markings should be engineered for the environment they’re going into — not just printed and hoped for the best.
Keri McPhee
Operation Manager
Keri McPhee brings a wealth of hands-on experience in vinyl printing, production design, and the operational discipline it takes to deliver orders on time without compromising quality. With a background that spans the full production workflow — from graphic preparation and material selection through to final output and quality inspection — Keri has a thorough understanding of what it takes to produce labels that consistently meet the mark.
As Operations Manager at North Mark, Keri oversees the day-to-day production process, ensuring every order moves efficiently through the shop and goes out the door right. When customers have questions about order status or want to understand more about how a product is made, Keri is a knowledgeable resource who can speak to the production side with confidence. Her focus, however, is on the shop floor — keeping quality high, timelines tight, and production running smoothly so that every order reflects the standard North Mark is built on.

Top Quality
Our products have been field tested on the summit of Mount Everest and at speeds of over 400km/h.
Our products have literally been at the top of the world. One of our clients, Trevor Stuart, climbed to the top of Mount Everest with our products on his equipment. In another extreme test, our labels have also been on cars that have been clocked at over 400km/h (250+mph).
This is another reason why we use only premium materials. Once we’ve done our part, it’s up to you to keep the quality going.
When installing your labels, be sure your chosen surface is clean and that you don’t install in cold weather. We recommend installing our labels in temperatures no colder than 5°C (about 40°F). If cold weather cannot be avoided at install, we recommend using a heat gun (where permitted) to bring the surface up to an acceptable temperature.
